Designed and built by Liam van Oort and Shannon Lin, this site re-launches the van Oort’s eponymous studio with a custom designed web and online shopping experience that pays off the surrealist and lighthearted energy found in their clothing, photography, print, accessories, and more.

Homepage
The homepage interaction is inspired by my exploration with photography and using shadows or highlights as transparency. We where able to make this interactive for the vanoort.co homepage so the user is able to create their own images. These visuals also build the brand as a space that is built from the combination of multiples different perspectives. These visual also make their way into prints and patterns for our garments.
The menu
Before scrolling to a full view of the products, we where inspired by restaurant menu’s and how they display their options with text-heavy menus and sometimes bits of visuals of the food itself.
